Our Gifts In Kind Department is seeking an experienced bilingual Administrative Assistant who is well organized, flexible and will enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting this diverse department.  Our Gifts In Kind Department ensures that large quantities of food, medicine and other essential items are successfully procured from nonprofit organizations and corporate donors. The candidate should possess the ability to interact with staff at all levels, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be resourceful and efficient while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This is a full-time position.

This position provides administrative support to the Gifts In Kind Department including, but not limited to, telephone work, composing correspondences and special assignments. This position reports to other department managers when the Director is out of office.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Good data entry skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent writing skills in both English and Spanish

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and the Internet

  • Energetic, self-motivated and team player
  • Strong initiative and solid judgement


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred


  • At least three years of related experience preferred
