Description

The Supervisor, Nursing - Brooklyn functions under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Brooklyn to oversee and supervise clinical and operational services in the nursing department. Responsibilities will include the hiring, scheduling and performance monitoring of a staff of RNs, LPNs, MAs, NPOPs, and other site-specific Nursing Department staff.

The Supervisor will support the Managing Director of Nursing in the development and oversight of Nursing Department protocols, policies, procedures, and standards of care. Additionally, the Supervisor will support general clinic operations by participating in various operations meetings and initiatives.

Qualifications

Education, Experience

  • Current and valid New York State Registered Nurse License.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience
  • Experience managing diverse teams of medical professionals preferred.
  • Three years’ experience in an outpatient clinical setting preferred.
  • Experience serving Callen-Lorde’s target populations preferred.
  • Strong computer competency.
