Description

Callen-Lorde is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to work at our Bronx clinic. The LPN will also rotate to our main facility located in Chelsea Manhattan on occasion. The LPN will be responsible for assisting medical providers in providing patient care in the following areas: primary care, HIV care, transgender care, urgent care and sexual health. The LPN is expected to maintain a high degree of professional competence and the highest possible ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and functioning as part of a care-giving team.

 

Work Schedule/Salary:

The Bronx Health Center is open Monday through Friday. Three 8:00-5:00pm shifts and two 12:00-9:00pm shifts will be required. Occasional Saturdays may be required in the Manhattan location. Qualifications
  • New York State LPN License and current registration
  • Current CPR and Infection Control Certification
  • Two years’ experience in an out-patient clinical setting preferred
  • Experience serving Callen-Lorde's target populations preferred
  • Strong Computer Competency
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
