The position of Technical Sales will involve efforts of contributing to the selling and overseeing of production style equipment sales. You will service customers from the Church, K-12, Higher Ed, Production, and Contractor realm.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Track and follow up on sales leads
- Responsible for generating and sending comprehensive scope of work and estimates for clients
- Attend Technical Sales calls at customer site
- Ensure project processes are being completed in a timely and accurate manner, address issues that arise within projects, and assist with troubleshooting.
- Manage vendor relationships by addressing product updates, product problems, and high-end troubleshooting
- Maintain good client relations while project is being sold or installed; identify technical, budgetary, and timeline goals
- Demonstrate integrity by returning calls, emails, and communicating with customer in a timely manner
- Display teamwork by working closely with purchasing and shipping/receiving while meeting critical deadlines
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies the company offers
- Work with accounting to build contracts and terms in estimates as needed
- Attend sales meetings
- Attend and/or lead Kick-Off Meetings
- Assist with training internal technical or sales staff on new products
- Work with accounting on monthly sales audit/reconciliation
- Express creative ideas and collaborate on new procedures to improve the customer experience
- Participate in trade shows, meetings, and other marketing events
- Maintain a positive attitude that encourages communication of ideas
- Promote the Clearwing brand
