Coordinator + Outsourced Accounting (OAS)



Anders CPA’s + Advisors, a growing accounting firm, is seeking an organized, professional, energetic and detail-oriented OAS Coordinator to join our team. The team member selected will support members of outsourced accounting group including department head, managers and professional staff members. Knowledge of financial and accounting terminology preferred.


The OAS Coordinator manages a variety of tasks simultaneously and is capable of anticipating the needs of others while constantly seeking opportunities to improve workflow and efficiencies for the outsourced accounting team. This position performs administrative work of considerable difficulty which may involve critical thinking, problem solving and independent judgment. The Coordinator must also be able to manage projects, work independently with little or no supervision and meet deadlines. This position requires tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner. In addition, they must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with both staff and clients.


Position Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support as required for entire OAS group. Serve as a point of contact to client calls and as a back-up for staff who are out of the office.
  • Prepare billing and maintain billing files for department.
  • Prepare various billing, chargeability and departmental financial reports and publish as appropriate.
  • Prepare and maintain engagement letters for all OAS clients.
  • Assist with file and document maintenance including scanning, setting up electronic client files, tracking projects, correspondence, and other administrative duties.
  • Update standard document templates including standard letters, reports, and other correspondence
  • Schedule and organize all aspects of internal and client meetings including securing location, catering, A/V, etc.
  • Use firm’s portal (extranet) for safe and secure transfer of documents to and from client
  • Monitor centralized department email and calendar.
  • Process firm correspondence. 


Accounting Processes

  • Manage client financial statement issuance process, including monitoring monthly and annual regulatory compliance.
  • Support onboarding process of new clients.
  • Assist with organizing, formatting, and distribution of client 1099s.



  • Administer setup and login credentials for various system applications.
  • Assist management with monitoring of workflow.
  • Assist staff with identifying opportunities for streamlining processes and creating efficiencies through the use of technology.
  • Serve as resource for department technology platforms.

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • 4+ years of general office experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Online, a plus
