The iOS Solution Engineer position at Vectorform brings to life the software needs of our clients and the creative visions of our Design team. As an iOS Solution Engineer at Vectorform you are part of an elite team of visionaries who strive to continually build and rebuild the bridge between human and digital interaction.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Building apps from the ground up, as well as implementing new features, fixing bugs, and improving performance of iOS applications
• Meet project deadlines as indicted in a project plan
• Assist in ideating innovative ways to simplify solutions to maximize usability, efficiency, and satisfaction of clients
• Continuously promote the investigation and reporting of available iOS frameworks, and off-the-shelf solutions that will maximize development efficiency
• Interface with clients when necessary

Qualifications:

• Advanced understanding of Swift/Objective-C and the iOS SDK
• Advanced understanding of Xcode and Apple Performance Tools
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Ability to effectively interact with Project Managers and other organizational units such as QA and Designers
• Ability to work in a face paced, collaborative, and interactive programming environment
• Passion for working with cutting-edge technologies
• A strong understanding of the underlying memory management in Swift/Objective-C
• Understanding of constraint and frame based layouts
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and have the ability to accurately implement custom designs that scale to any screen size
• Creative problem solving skills

Nice to have:

• Aptitude developing applications leveraging remote XML/JSON data accessed via RESTful Web Services 
• Experience using Git with a team 
• Experience with Confluence/Jira 
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS Protocols and certificates 
• Familiarity with MVP architecture
• Experience in publishing an iOS app to the App Store 
• Existing products in the App Store
• Experience developing for Android
