Position Summary:
CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories has a new opening for an AP/CP Surgical Pathologist.
The ideal candidate will have excellent general anatomic and clinical pathology skills. Fellowship training and expertise highly desired. AP board certification/eligibility is required. Experience is valued; however, recent graduates with strong subspecialty fellowship training are also encouraged to apply. General Surgical expertise along with Genitourinary, Breast, Gynecologic, Heme and Derm specialties highly valued. Our group covers a huge portion of pathology for Washington State and Alaska offering several locations to call your home office including Anchorage, Seattle, Everett, Kirkland, Tacoma, Olympia, and Spokane.
Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely diagnostic services in general surgical pathology.

Apply subspecialty expertise. High target subspecialties: Genitourinary, Breast, Gynecologic, Hematopathology, or Dermatopathology but not required.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.

Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to our culture of excellence.
Locations
As our group serves a huge percentage of providers in Washington and also Alaska, we can offer opportunities in several of our locations, including Anchorage, Seattle, Everett, Kirkland, Tacoma, Olympia, and Spokane.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Requirements:

Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).

Fellowship training in a subspecialty (preferred).

Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with high-level decision-makers.

Customer-focused mindset with an understanding of laboratory operations.

Adaptability and leadership in driving change.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and computer use

Extended periods of diagnostic work using a microscope, requiring fine motor skills and visual acuity.

Ability to stand for up to 2 hours during autopsies.
