The Pro Shop Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Pro Shop Manager with Day to Day activities, operations and special events.  The Operations Assistant manager will supervise employees, work directly with clients and carry out the directives of the manager and/or ownership of L.A.S.


 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in management of both Full Time and Part Time Staff within the Retail Pro-Shop facilities through effective coaching, teaching and training opportunities.  
  • Assist in Training of Pro Shop Staff
  • Assist in Hiring process of Pro Shop Staff
  • Monitoring staff performance and assisting with writing and delivery of staff evaluations 
  • Ensuring Pro Shop staff understand and comply with all Pro Shop objectives, performance standards and policies.
  • Assist in identifying operational concerns or issues and suggesting solutions.
  • Assist in maintaining timekeeping and personnel records.
  • Work closely with LAS staff to ensure that all client interactions are positive
  • Working directly with clients to resolve any issues within the LAS Pro Shop.
  • Assist in identifying maintenance needed within LAS Pro Shop facilities.
  • Assist in operational awareness including, but not limited to: Inventory, personnel records and purchasing of goods.
  • Lead merchandising efforts with the assistance of the Assistant Sales Manager.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.



  • Extensive Archery Knowledge
  • Minimum Three (3) years in a retail supervisory role
  • Proven leadership ability with the ability to work as a team or as an individual
  • Strong Communication both verbally and written
  • Open availability
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast pace business while multitasking.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and detail oriented
