Southeastern Guide Dogs is seeking a Regional Manager to join our Puppy Raising Services department and support our Area Coordinators and Puppy Raiser groups.

Position serves as a liaison between the Puppy Raising Services Department and Puppy Raiser groups within an assigned region, providing direct supervision, training, and on-going development of volunteer Area Coordinators and puppy raisers in order to maximize the volunteer experience in accordance with Puppy Raising Services best practices, policies, and protocols.  Keeps the Director of Puppy Raising Services apprised of any ongoing AC, raiser, and/or puppy activities and concerns.  The position requires a solid background and understanding of positive dog training techniques, behavior modification, and an ability to instruct in both group and one-on-one settings.  Excellent people skills, teaching, and team building skills are considered essential.  This is a 40+ hours per week position, which includes working some evenings and weekends and requiring periodic travel.
