Southeastern Guide Dogs is seeking a dynamic and self-driven individual to actively recruit students for our teen program and teen camps through the development of relationships with those organizations and/or businesses that provide services specifically for teens & children that are blind or visually impaired.   

Responsibilities: 

• Identify organizations which provide services for potential applicants
• Identify conventions/conferences which target blind/visually impaired teens & children
• Visit and develop relationships with the organizations and or event event organizers to educate staff on Programs for Children & Teens offered by Southeastern Guide Dogs with a strong focus on our Teen Guide Dog Camp
• Work with organizations to promote a referral system
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop literature to be provided to potential applicants and service providers
• Develop and implement  outreach strategic plan to ensure a continuous network of partnerships as well as teen applications to support a minimum of four teen camps per year
• This position will require traveling to various organizations, conventions, school functions and other events aligned to the strategic plan.  Travel would include within Florida and across the US
• Strong relationship building skills, presentation skills and initiative
• Demonstrate a history of growing a portfolio.  Must be able to quickly understanding overall goals of the organization and implement the objectives independently.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with parent(s) or guardian(s) of potential applicants
• Other duties as assigned
