Shipping Clerk

This position’s primary focus is to track, trace and update the status of shipped goods. This is a Union position that helps in collaborating and communicating with managers and the Customer Service department.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is able to work independently and within a team, has a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. We are looking for an individual with an exceptional sense of time organization and excellent prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and keep records of all shipping
• Sort and scan outgoing goods

• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Maintain an organized shipping area

• Knowledge of the following systems: UPS Worldship, Fed Ex and USPS employer shipping solutions
• Proficient with Microsoft office (Word & Excel)
• Ability to lift (60) pounds without assistance
• Ability to remain standing during the course of the day
• Ability to work overtime
• Experienced in operating a hand pallet jack
• Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) equipment is a plus
