- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
- Outstanding teaching skills and at least three (3) years teaching Woodwinds/Band in an independent school or equivalent experience
- A strong background in curriculum and instruction in discipline specific content
- Capacity to lead a full ensemble, preferred
- Possess a collegiality and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and promote an inclusive school culture
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to a growth mindset and continuous professional development
Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, and for the majority of the work day. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
