TOTH is currently seeking candidates for a Water Resources Project Manager to join the Civil Engineering Department. This position will include project management and design responsibilities for various civil engineering projects including but not limited to wastewater treatment, wastewater systems, water treatment, potable water systems, and stormwater management. Responsibilities will consist of overall management of projects from design through construction administration and will include the supervision and coordination of design team personnel and resources.

Candidates having experience in the field of wastewater/water treatment engineering, and having an in-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with wastewater/water treatment, and a working knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls engineering related to wastewater treatment systems are highly preferred.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Interacting with clients and professionally representing the firm.
  • Monitor/control active projects to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Mentoring and directing staff on technical assignments, and reviewing technical work completed by engineers under supervision.
  • Be willing to travel to project locations typically within a 200-mile radius.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • 4-6 years of engineering experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in wastewater/water treatment engineering design and construction administration is highly preferred.
  • Experience leading the design or portions of the design of wastewater/water treatment facilities is highly preferred.
  • Making decisions independently on engineering problems and methods.
  • Strong organizational & communications skills.
  • Experience with engineering consulting.
  • Experience with local, state, and federal regulatory permitting processes.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
  • Familiarity with common civil engineering design software.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on projects from conceptual design through construction.
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
