Summary
The Production Team Member is accountable for the proper handling, inspecting, and quality of products produced on the production floor. Additionally, this position is responsible for working as a team directly with other team members. All production members are responsible for general housekeeping and safety of their work areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow company policies & procedures, including guidelines/instructions set by the Production Supervisor.
- Must be able to check color of finished good product to control sample
- Maintain adequate production rate for the assigned process efficient and accurate
- Ongoing general housekeeping of work area
- Consistent physical activity, including but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting or other physical requirements
- Identify and recognize quality of finished product
- Engage in clear, consistent and professional communication between Production Supervisor and other Production Team Members
- Responsible for unloading, trimming, and palletizing of finished good product, this includes physical lifting
- Work cohesively as a team for maximum production output
- Responsible for using shears and utility knife in a safe and practical manor
- Remain conscious of quality improvements and report any concerns to Supervisor as they arise
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor
