Who You Are:
- Previous related workplace experience in the hospitality area, including food service and housekeeping; experience in an educational setting a plus.
- Previous success in a management role.
- Willingness to earn and maintain a ServSafe Manager certification.
- Openness to contribute ideas, actively listen and, strive for effective, clear communication.
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills with staff and clients; Diplomatic and effective at resolving conflict.
- Strong team player - ability to work as part of a team and maintain a service-oriented attitude.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace. - Flexible and adaptable. Be a fast learner and able to pivot when circumstances change.
- Demonstrate ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Although usually maintains regular business office hours, have availability and flexibility to work various hours throughout each week, including weekdays, early and late shifts, occasional weekends, and be on-call.
- Capability to lift and move moderately heavy objects (tables, chairs, etc).
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (internet, email, Google Suite) and ability to learn Salesforce and other technologies as needed.
