•    Drive continuous improvement efforts in the plant in terms of quality.  Resolves manufacturing problems by investigating issues, identifying root causes, taking corrective action and documenting results/ process changes
•    Communicate with management to develop production and design standards.  Prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
•    Develop standard work/process sheets
•    Utilize CI concepts to eliminate waste, reduce process variation, increase production throughput, and improve manufacturing processes.
•    Prepare manuals and train plant floor workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures, or equipment, focusing training on correct quality check procedures, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
•    Assist in tooling and fixture design, fabrication, and installation to ensure quality conformance.
•    Develop manufacturing process documentation through creation of standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
•    Perform other duties as required
 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
•    Fluency in Spanish required

•    Ability to travel as needed, with or without notice, approximately 10% of time.
•    Ability to work in (i.e. walk in, sit in, stand in) a manufacturing environment, mostly on the plant floor, for most of the work day, under a climate that is not controlled (i.e. hot in the summer and cold in the winter)
