Position Details

The Corporate Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for the development of guest acquisition strategies to positively impact revenue performance on the portfolio of Hotels. With direct oversight of group of properties, the Corporate Director of Digital Marketing advances the corporate digital team structure and field support by improving the department’s tools, standards, and resources; develops a company-wide internet marketing strategy by brand and hotel type, serves as the area’s change agent and plays a key leadership role in driving the implementation, pull-through and sustainment of digital marketing and related programs and key initiatives. While directing all digital and eCommerce efforts in all areas related to strategy reporting, analytics and other activities, the Corporate Director of Digital fosters an inspired workplace aligned with 247 Hotel’s culture and guiding principles.

  • Oversee website audit process to include content and imagery to ensure proper positioning against the competitive set
  • Work with brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Choice to build and execute brand focused digital marketing strategies.
  • Work with Revenue Managers and OTA Market Managers for merchandising, sell strategies and maximize placement through optimization (including Expedia and
  • Oversee on-page and off-page SEO (search engine optimization) strategy to create incremental exposure and traffic for each hotel
  • Oversee local listing strategy (including Google My Business, Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp and others)
  • Analyze channel mix and grow online contribution from websites to hotels
  • Work with web development agencies to ensure incremental growth and performance for both the website and SEM (search engine marketing)
  • Ensure accurate portrayal of hotels across all online channels
  • Determine new paid marketing channels to align hotel with their target market and goals
  • Monitors property performance through field visits and one on one partnership with property leadership
  • Works with revenue leadership to ensure pricing and digital strategies are aligned within market opportunities to maximize revenue
  • Serves as the corporate digital liaison with all sales channels, revenue management, marketing communications and other hotel departments as appropriate
  • Hires and develops corporate digital team; provides day to day leadership to the digital team to achieve assigned revenue and market share goals
  • Assists in the development and execution of a strategic marketing action plan for the properties with each e-Commerce Manager
Qualifications, Perks & Company Information

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, with an emphasis in SEO, eCommerce, and online paid campaigns

4-year college degree preferred (Major in Marketing, Communications or related field strongly preferred) or equivalent of education/experience 

Experience directly supervising other Associates

Proven track record developing digital marketing strategies & budgets and creating content for online campaigns, including SEO/SEM, paid search and/or social media management

Familiarity with major hotel brand website configuration, third party booking software and other various customer-facing, digital communication channels (i.e. TripAdvisor, Expedia, Yelp, etc.)

Experience managing multiple brand entities and key hotel markets from both a creative and analytical standpoint

Experience with BrightEdge preferred

Highly organized with strong communication skills and a teamwork style to accomplishing goals

Organization Skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task required

Ability to build positive relationship with internal customers in the field and at the Corporate Office

Ability to travel locally and overnight up to 30% of the time
