The Ranch & Spa Facility Supervisor is responsible assisting the director with managing all aspects of the operations of the facility.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the Ranch Experience for members and guests by maintaining the established standards
  • Oversees the daily operations of The Ranch reception team and their integration with the spa and salon providers
  • Ensures cash drawers are balanced daily, all supporting documentation and POS transactions are in line with applicable procedures, and that adequate cash denominations are on hand for proper operation
  • Communicates and implements company policies and procedures for the Ranch reception team, as well as to the whole department in the absence of the director
  • Establishes controls for expenses and the purchasing of club supplies
  • Maintains accurate list of pulled retail for use by applicable providers
  • Responsible for learning applicable computer software and trains new employees on how to use it
  • Develops and maintains the retail and professional inventories, through direct actions and delegation of tasks, to ensure everything is available to operate effectively
  • Directly supervises assigned members of The Ranch & Spa, to include: interviewing, hiring and training staff, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, counseling and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Performs all duties in adherence to OTOW and The Ranch & Spa standards
  • Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all members, guests, residents, visitors and co-workers
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience required
  • Previous customer service, money handling, and scheduling experience required
  • Jonas software experience preferred
  • Salon or Spa experience preferred

 

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must be able to read, write and understand English, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and write professional business correspondences
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • PC skills required
  • Well organized, ability to multi-task, efficient
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to members, guests, vendors, contractors and other employees
