JOB SUMMARYThe primary purpose is to ensure smooth and effective functioning of internal and community events, including special projects.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist Regional Presidents and Banking Center Managers in the organization and development of community events
  • Accurately track volunteer opportunities and hours worked per event
  • Assist Regional Presidents and Banking Center Managers in the organization, development, and promotion of all internal events, to include bank years of service celebrations, open houses, etc.
  • Develop, implement, promote, and track all aspects of CORPORATE community events, to include registration, volunteer requests, setup, cleanup, etc.
  • Responsible for the organization, development, and implementation of the Fun Committee, to include community drives (i.e. water drive, dog food drive, etc.)
  • Responsible for the organization, development, and implementation of the Firstar Savers school program
  • Assist Regional Presidents and Banking Center Managers in the organization and development of Student Boards in their area
  • Responsible for updating information on FB&T Intranet webpages: Community, Fun Committee, and Banquet
  • Order, track, and maintain inventory control of community items used for event purposes, to include the upkeep and organization of the community closet
  • Manage budgets for Fun Committee, Firstar, and all location Marketing, to include Bus. Dev., Donations, and Advertising
  • Create/share engaging content for social media in a timely manner, including photos and videos of internal and external community events, new team members, volunteering, sponsorships, Fun Committee days, etc.
  • Order, track, and maintain inventory control of promotional items used for marketing purposes, to include the upkeep and organization of the promo closet
  • Assist with marketing compliance tracking and reporting
  • Create advertising for sponsorships, to include sending of logos, banners, ads for programs, etc.
  • Assist in providing Marketing resources to all locations.
  • Develop and manage Team Member/Department Spotlights on social media
  • Develop, implement, promote, and track the First Financial Literacy Program
  • Manage, promote, and track annual community engagement social media giveaways
  • Develop, implement, promote, and track Product & Service videos
  • Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
  • Follow the direction of supervisor.
  • Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management
  • May occasionally require work beyond standard business hours, including evenings and Saturdays, based on operational needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred
  • 1 to 3 years previous banking experience preferred 
  • Marketing, sales, and advertising experience preferred
  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures
  • Proficient computer, 10 key, and typing skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity
  • Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment)
  • Possible driving to various banking centers, client locations, seminar locations, and other sites as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment
