Entry Level

This position is responsible for prepping, cutting, slicing, and packaging all specialty items for customers.  Duties include stocking inventory for the day’s orders; cutting, slicing, cleaning, peeling produce; weighing packages; checking quality of produce; cleaning work stations; and following directions of supervisor.  Working in a cold environment is required.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Cut produce using a knife, and other tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 #
  • Label packages according to item
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Follow directions of supervisor
  • Follow GMP’s and Safety Guidelines
  • Ability to use knives, peelers, other tools
  • Ability to read and scale
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment – (36 degrees)
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Have good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and write in English or native language, as is affected by direction and paperwork)
