This is a hybrid position. 

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the installation, and support of client business software, desktop hardware systems and Information Technology (IT) services offered by lmagEze, Inc. Solutions will include Microsoft operating system and desktop application software packages, network support services, backup and recovery services. ImagEze, Inc. is a wholly independent subsidiary of Fraser Advanced Information Systems.



  • Installation of hardware and software products remotely and at customer locations.

  • Providing customer technical support for hardware and software products (incoming phone calls, email questions/requests, and on-site support as required).

  • Installation of software upgrades, releases and updates to existing customers.

  • Assisting in the specification, preparation and presentation of proposals, as required.

  • Tracking and recording personal billable and non-billable work on a timely basis, thoroughly and accurately.

  • Obtain and maintain required technical certifications. This may require off­ hours  time for study and preparation.



Education: BS degree in Information Technology or career related technical certifications preferred

Experience: 1-3 Years working in a related position with in the IT support field



  • Active Directory- General understanding of configuration and troubleshooting   

  • TCP/IP Protocol - Subnetting, Configuration, Troubleshooting

  • Server Hardware and Software – Basic understanding and effective troubleshooting of Server 2008, 2012 and 2016

  • General problem resolution and analysis

  • Remote and on site customer network support

  • Desktop system user support (Windows 7, Windows 10)

  • Software Installation and Configuration

  • Backup Software –Axcient

  • Familiarity with Windows  installation procedures, file locations, registry  properties

  • Network management and support- some knowledge of switches, routers and firewalls


  • Strong client facing communication skills – both written and verbal – with a focus on customer service

  • Effectively and efficiently carry out written and verbal job  related instructions, with or without supervision

  • Exercise sound judgment when evaluating situations, when offering positive suggestions, and when making decisions

  • Respond to inquiries and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner

  • Work under pressure typically associated with this type of position  

  • Professional appearance and presentation

  • Valid driver's license
