Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Corporate B2B Marketing

REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager, MarCom

LOCATION: Lenexa, Kansas or Remote

(Salary range: $47,000 - $53,000/annually)

 

Job Summary

EducationDynamics seeks a motivated and skilled Marketing Coordinator to provide dedicated marketing support to our business development team. Reporting to a Marketing Manager within the Marketing & Communications department, this role serves as a critical liaison between marketing and business development, ensuring the sales team is equipped with compelling and effective marketing and sales materials. The coordinator will collaborate closely with colleagues across MarCom and business development, as well as other internal stakeholders, to support lead nurturing and sales enablement efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative and professional skills, including proficiency in design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) for developing visual assets, expertise in crafting and refining professional presentations (particularly in PowerPoint) and strong professional writing abilities for various marketing and sales collateral. While a few years of professional experience are expected, EducationDynamics is committed to providing training to further develop the successful candidate's skills within our dynamic higher education marketing environment.

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns and content that contributes to B2B lead nurturing and sales proposals, specifically supporting the business development team's goals.  
  • Collaborate on the development of visual marketing elements, including presentations, proposals, landing pages, infographics and other assets tailored for business development use.  
  • Create and edit professional PowerPoint presentations for sales pitches, conferences and other business development meetings.
  • Utilize strong professional writing skills to develop and refine content for sales collateral, email templates, case studies and other materials used by the business development team.  
  • Help maintain consistency in branding and messaging across all materials used for marketing and sales.
  • Engage in market and competitor analysis to monitor competitors relevant to business development activities and report on their positioning and marketing efforts as needed.  
  • Produce reporting that effectively communicates the impact of associated marketing efforts on business development outcomes.  
  • Demonstrate strong organization and project management skills to manage multiple projects and requests from the business development team effectively.  
  • Work independently on self-directed projects while also collaborating effectively within multi-functional teams.  
  • Utilize and learn marketing tools and platforms relevant to supporting business development activities, potentially including CRM and marketing automation systems, such as Marketo.
  • Remote position, however it may be required to visit the Lenexa, KS office once per week

 

What You Offer

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required. Preference given to Marketing, Advertising or related field of study

 

Experience: 2+ years demonstrated experience with the following:

  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Ability to lead self-directed projects, work independently and within collaborative teams
  • Desire to collaborate with team members and work within a dynamic multi-functional team environment
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
  • Familiarity with presentation software like PowerPoint or Google Slides
  • Eagerness to learn new platforms, master a modern mar-tech stack and leverage marketing best practices as they evolve
  • Designing and maintaining business development enablement content, including pitch decks and presentations, conference collateral and custom sales proposals
  • Coordinating and supporting the development of sales proposals in response to requests for proposals
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools like Google Ads, LinkedIn Marketing, Facebook, Google Analytics, etc. is a plus
  • Familiarity with generative AI platforms and tools for the development and enhancement of marketing collateral
