Idaho Falls Community Hospital is looking for an ICU Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY:
The CNA Monitor Tech and Unit Secretary plays a key role in helping the ICU and IMC operate smoothly. In this role, you help provide basic nursing care, assist patients with daily activities, maintain a safe and clean environment and answer phone calls to the unit. One of the most important parts of this role is providing continuous monitoring of our telemetry patients and communicating patient updates to the appropriate team members. This position assists with emergent order entry as requested and any other unit secretary responsibilities as directed by the charge nurse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 16 Dedicated Beds
- Invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring including Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, Flotrak, Clearsight
- Vasoactive medication management
- Mechanical ventilation with sedation management
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- TPE (Therapeutic Plasma Exchange)
- Stroke and tPA administration and management
- Neurosurgical patient management including postoperative care, ICP Monitoring, and ventriculostomy care
- Sepsis management
- Temporary transvenous pacing
- Therapeutic hypothermia with Thermoguard
