PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The primary responsibility is serving guests with excellence by taking orders and preparing food and beverages. We strive to provide a positive memorable customer experience by assuring the store is clean and by greeting customers in a friendly and helpful manner. This position will serve both our Carmel and Binford locations. This is a nonexempt full-time position that reports to the Capstone General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Café (Bookstore)
- Gives Ministry Away
- Greets all customers with a welcoming friendly smile
- Prepares food and beverage orders properly with a sense of urgency and care
- Respectfully works with Shift Leader and team to ensure the best guest experience
- Consistently cleans work station
- Maintains a well-stocked work station
- Able and willing to perform all opening and closing procedures
- Adheres to Safe Serve guidelines (sanitizing solution, no rags on counter, no open food/beverages)
- Regularly attends and participates in trainings (e.g., barista, customer service, process & procedures)
- Maintains a clean welcoming café
- Diligently and joyfully completes tasks and provides additional support to the team
