Health-Ade is seeking an experienced Controller to direct the general and cost accounting activities, treasury management, generate management reports and maintain tax reporting. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a key financial role that needs to expand to match the financial information demands of the company. You must be able to work independently and with the highest levels of integrity.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide strong accounting and financial leadership to ensure the integrity of the financial statements and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Partner with the Finance team to analyze monthly operating results against budget
• Partner with the Finance team on the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts
• Lead an effective month-end close and provide analysis that fosters a deeper understanding of the business that impacts future performance
• Oversee accounting, treasury, compliance, and tax matters
• Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
• Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
• Maintain strong internal control, manage financial audits, and serve as the main point of contact with external auditors
• Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality
• Mentor and develop team members, create succession plans, and identify/recruit key talent 

Required Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong accounting experience
• Demonstrated deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Six years of relevant experience
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and statements
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
• Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of employees
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Business Central experience a plus
