Hours: 20-25 (Part Time)

One Line Job Description:
The Front Desk Assistant helps create a welcoming environment in our main office lobby, in-person and over the phone, for our staff and those we serve in our congregation and community.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct incoming phone calls
  • Assist people in person in the main office
  • Maintain front lobby, conference room and coffee station in orderly appearance
  • Execute administrative/office needs and reports for the Launch & Southeast Campus Teams
  • Manage the greetings and recorded information listed through our phone system, including setting the appropriate greeting for day, night, holidays, etc
  • Attend team meetings and do follow-ups, as requested or needed
  • Order office postage and prepare monthly ministry postage allocation
  • Prepare all outgoing mail and distribute all incoming mail
  • Order and maintain office supplies, as needed, including for the front desk coffee station 
  • Distribute weekend Connection Cards to appropriate staff for attention
  • Prepare weekly prayer list for email distribution, printing, and mailing
  • Change the SPOD notifications for the weekly assigned night SPOD

Other Duties:

  • Support other administrative/support staff with tasks as needed as approved by supervisor
  • Keep printer/copiers stocked with paper
  • Order toner for color copiers
  • Prepare needed reports and correspondence
  • Prepare monthly credit card expense reports for assigned team members
  • Prepare purchase orders and check requests as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements


  • Active “All In Partner” at Pantano Christian Church
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in online communication, email and calendar tools
  • Experience with database software a plus
  • Ability to work productively without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers, and other staff
