Function
The Audio Warehouse Lead will oversee the day-to day operations of the audio department in the warehouse. This person possesses an extensive knowledge of industry products and how they function. They also possess the ability to delegate to others, to communicate efficiently, and work in a timely manner in an ever-changing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Works in tandem with the Warehouse Manager/ Operations Leads to ensure that operational goals are being targeted and met and labor needs are satisfied
- Collaborates with Regional Audio Operations in performing and delegating repairs, preventative maintenance, QC projects, and updates on all audio equipment
- Works with System Techs, Regional Audio Operations, and QC Techs to prep all shows to Clearwing standards
- Directs the audio department in day-to-day operations - ensuring efficiency, safety, and accountability
- Leads and delegates the audio team in scanning, pulling, maintaining, cleaning, and putting away gear per jobs/projects
- Finalize all checking-in and checking-out of audio related jobs in EasyJob Safely lead and load truck packs with all departments and techs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and network problems in an audio system
- Assist Regional Audio Operations in identifying and addressing gear shortages on current and future projects
- Aids, communicates, and plans with Regional Audio Operations on prioritizing show preps, and gear turns
- Maintains accurate inventory of all audio equipment and infrastructure, and works with Service/ Purchasing in the maintenance of this gear
- Assist other company departments on site and in the warehouse as work demands require
- Ensure that subhires are inventoried, QC'd, and returned as needed per project
- Helps oversee the process of customers picking up and returning equipment rentals Oversee and train QC techs in test-rig operation
- Ability to join technicians on show sites, as needed
