Responsibilities vary by position. In general:

Front of House (Cashiers, Food Runners & Bussers)

  • Take guest orders ang ring in via POS terminals.
  • Deliver food, and clear/clean tables.
  • General restaurant cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Hours and overall schedule vary depending upon store needs.

Back of House (Line Cooks, Prep Cooks & Dishwashers)

  • Prepare dishes to Wildflower standards, following procedure and plating standards.
  • Ensure station is kept clean, sanitary and in-stock.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting health and safety.
  • Hours and overall schedule vary depending upon store needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Working at fast pace in a busy fast-casual restaurant.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Breadhead is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, see, read and hear. The Breadhead frequently is required to bend, push and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The Breadhead is occasionally required to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, push, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and fingers. Essential hand/eye coordination.
  • Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to move materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

 

Qualifications
  • Possess reliable transportation.
  • Must have a valid Food Handler's Certificate.
    • If location serves alcohol, a liquor safety certificate is also required.
  • Present a positive attitude and demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read, count and accurately write data.
  • Maintain skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate the equipment used in the performance of this job such as ranges, toasters, thermalizers, ovens, slicers and knives.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
