About the Senior Project Manager -  Education Design Professional Role

 

We are seeking talented and passionate design professionals with specific expertise in Education project design and delivery to join our dynamic and growing education team.  In this role, you will collaborate with clients and team members to produce quality design options that address the evolving needs of clients and end users.  The ideal candidate possesses a clear understanding of the education industry with strong technical skills, and a thorough understanding of code requirements. We have openings for professionals capable of contributing progressive and innovative design concepts for students. We are looking for individuals that desire to learn, collaborate and ultimately lead our growing education design team. Positions are available in each of our offices.   

 

How you contribute each day

  • Work closely with the project principal, project manager, and project designer in each phase of the project delivery process.
  • Responsible for leading a project team through the coordination and delivery of project detailing and documentation.
  • Oversee work of lesser experienced intern architects and designers.
  • Responsible for coordination of engineering and other consultants.
  • Contribute to all aspects and phases of the architectural design process.
  • Assist in creating project schedules and budgets.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Maintain and organize project files.
  • Travel to and from project and client meetings as required.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree (accredited program required).
  • Architectural license or in process of obtaining architectural licensure.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the senior healthcare market.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor others.
  • Strong skills in design, technical detailing, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in documenting all phases of the design process.
  • Construction management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit / BIM. Proficiency with Rhino, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up, and Lumion is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office. Experience with Deltek is a plus.
