Gotham Greens is seeking a business data analyst who can help support our rapid growth by building tools and reports that inform business decisions. You’ll work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the company to understand business challenges, assess business requirements, design processes, and develop solutions to support our internal teams. We are looking for someone who is energized by thinking strategically to solve big questions and challenges and loves going deep into the details and data




  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop standard reports via visualization tools to be utilized throughout the organization.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand opportunities and challenges, help prioritize problems to solve
  • Determine what data can be used to best provide insight into business challenges
  • Build dashboards and reports that display quantitative data in a clear and concise format
  • Work with your teammates on the Digital Solutions team to find, manage, and use data
  • Identify opportunities for analysis and enhanced decision-making that can support Gotham’s growth




What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years' experience in a strategic, analytical, and operational role in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven problem-solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, prioritization of competing projects, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Work closely with IT Management, developers, and business users to identify and/or create business & functional requirements, as-is & to-be processes and business cases
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to differentiate “what is needed” from “what is wanted”
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Power Query, Power Pivot or PowerBI
  • Ability to execute work with high attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience is preferred

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is interested in sustainable agriculture
  • Has a passion for converting data-driven insights into actionable next steps to drive performance
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes a plus
  • Knowledge of Python, R a plus
