Runyon Saltzman, Inc. a leading Sacramento-based full-service, integrated communications firm is looking for an account manager / sr. account manager to join our team.
We are looking for a highly-motived Account Manager or Senior Account Manager who is passionate about creating and executing meaningful integrated marketing programs for our California-based clients. We seek a candidate with diverse experience in public relations/public affairs, media relations, community relations, social media, and a proven ability to successfully manage communications projects.
If you have 2-5 years of public relations/affairs experience; excellent writing and editing skills in English and Spanish (is a plus) along with these additional key skills:
- Public relations / Media relations / Message development
- Proactive leadership / Strategic Thinking

- Provide senior level counsel to clients
- Keen understanding of emerging media trends
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- A talent for delivering clean, well thought-out presentations.
- Knowledge of campaign strategies utilizing various media, outreach and public relations tactics.
- An ability to stay ahead of the curve.
- Creative and strategic thinking ability.
A bachelor’s degree and two-to- three years of relevant experience are required. Prior employment in an agency is desired.
