Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinators role is to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the company services and products. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of High Point Networks products and market goals. Proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media and web development is a must. Familiarity with a wide range of field practices, concepts, and procedures. Must possess exceptional communication skills, willingness to learn new things, positive attitude, strong work ethic.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and communication of press releases, presentations, newsletters, event support materials, research papers, and brochures.
  • Assist in the planning, development and execution of regional digital programs and campaigns, including online advertising, website strategy, and social media.
  • Assist in any and all marketing communications such as, PR, events, internal teams, vendor partners and customers.
  • Assist in ongoing management and strategy of digital touch points, including, highpointnetworks.com and social networking landing pages. Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization.
  • Assisting in the reporting and strategy of site analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting. In depth knowledge of SEO and AdWords. Presenting recommendations to Director of Marketing and Communications. Developing and coordinating multimedia packages.
  • Assist in the production of print and digital collateral to market our portfolio of IT solutions.
  • Assist in any tasks related to our vendor partners including, communications and online portals to obtain digital assets for co-branded projects.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all core processes related to job function.
  • Assist with distribution of branded items and giveaways.
  • Assist with use of email marketing tools, contact lists, workflows in HubSpot for external communication.
  • Responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales.
  • Responsible for planning, logistics, execution, tracking and communication of all hosted and attended events.
  • Responsible for video production, design, editing and communication.
  • Assist in copywriting, content creation and communication.
  • Responsible for reporting any KPIs related to marketing department and job functions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Deep understanding of overall marketing strategies, digital marketing and digital production.
  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative marketing and digital campaigns.
  • Proven experience delivering a variety of digital assets, including rich media online ads, micro sites, and social media applications.
  • Experience managing successful social media campaigns, and a solid understanding of social marketing.
  • Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data. Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business.
  • Strong management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience delivering digital campaigns for mainstream products and services
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, HTML, HTML 5, CSS
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Strong self-management, time management, and follow-through skills
  • Strong video editing/creation and development skills
  • Experience with event planning, promotion and execution
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Service Teams
  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Work with marketing, sales and service teams to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Limited travel to remote office locations
