Qualifications

We presently have an employment opportunity for a Lead Porter in one of our operations.  In this new role the Lead Porter  supervises and guides activities of Sales Porters engaged in moving, cleaning and preparing vehicles for delivery to customers or third parties by performing the following duties:

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Confers with management on the organization of lots and showroom for sales department and executes coordination to staff.
  • Confers with management on the organization of lots and showroom for service department and executes coordination to staff.
  • Guides and keeps the work of team members on track, ensures team has proper tools and supplies, adjusts work schedules according to work load, assigns individual assignments, tracks time worked.
  • Assists Management with usual and unusual requests in support of the needs of the company i.e.: events, sales campaigns, vehicle exhibitions off premises, filming, hurricane/emergency/safety preparedness, etc.
  • Resolves employee issues and performance to include screening and interviewing.

Position Requirements:

  • Valid Florida driver’s license.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and accurately receive written and oral instructions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Perform under strict time constraints.
