Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Report to Production Manager
- Complete 100% tear down upon receipt of job
- Work with blue printer to achieve a complete repair plan after tear down
- Study original estimate to ensure all parts, repairs and times are supplemented correctly
- Conduct repair in a timely manner
- Inform estimator of any additional supplement
- Communicate with production/parts managers of any additional supplemental repairs
- Keep customer personal belongings with vehicle
- Inform Production/Parts managers of any broken or damaged parts during repair process
- Utilize safety equipment during repairs
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
- Shields
- Welding blankets
- Clamps/chalks
- Safety chains
- Report damaged equipment to safety coordinator
- Keep open lines of communication with
- Estimators
- Parts department
- Paint shop
- All Managers
- Keep all damaged parts until authorization has been given to discard
- Clean complete panel to be repaired before beginning repair
- Secure assigned vehicles at close of business
- Assure that all open lines and connectors are covered at time of disconnection
- Protect interior, roll up all windows, do not store parts in car
- Communicate with Production manager as to any changes or problems with the repair. Keep open lines of communication open with the paint shop, parts department and estimators
- Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered
The hours for this position are:
- M-F 7:30 AM-5:30 PM (40-45 hours per week)
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
