We are currently seeking a talented, innovative and motivated Desktop Support specialist to add to our IT team. This candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the information technology infrastructures including workstations, staff support, internal helpdesk, and staff training. Additionally, the candidate will concentrate on being part of a highly functioning scalable team with emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Essential Functions of the Job:


o Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN, SAN, SFTP, VPN, Wi-Fi standards

o Ensure the LAN / WAN are available (wired, wireless and VPN)

o Manage Active Directory and LDAP

o Local Network and User setup

o Manage all staff permissions and access to company resources

o Understand IP addressing, port configuration and protocol utilization

o Understand VLAN configuration and troubleshoot connection issues

o Configure and support Wired and Wireless systems


o Microsoft Office (Office365), Sharepoint, Outlook and other email clients

o Google Apps

o Azure Enterprise applications

o Slack, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket

o Cisco Jabber, all browsers, Remote desktop applications, VMWare

o Various plugins for above software

o ERP or CRM software (Preferably Salesforce)

o Extensive experience working with WebEx and the issues/tickets related

o Support VoIP Cisco Unify Communications, Cisco Telepresence, Phone and End User setup


o Configure, deploy and support for Mac, PC, ChromeBook, iOS and Android environments

o Printers- Canon, Sharp, HP

o Experience with enterprise storage solutions

o Ability to migrate user data from one PC/Mac to another PC/Mac

o Configure and support VoIP and telepresence systems


o Order, setup, track, deploy and support equipment (cell phones, tablets, computer, monitors, accessories)

o Strong computer hardware, software, and networking skills

o Excellent listening skills to understand client issues and ability to ask the right questions

o Communicate technical issues in terms that are understood by both technical and non-technical users

o Able to multi-task and deal with multiple users and multiple issues simultaneously

o Must exercise good judgement, will have access to sensitive information

o Must keep an organized and presentable work area

o Must present a professional appearance and approach to customer support

o Remote Support via VPN, RDP, TeamViewer


o Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems with emphasis on Telecommunications or equivalent degree or experience

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

o Team-oriented, self-motivated and very personable

o Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

o Able to effectively train staff on software and systems

o Able to work independently and in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

o Ability to stay organized and deliver projects while juggling multiple priorities

o Strong knowledge of software solutions, including experience in installation, integration and training

o Understand cloud base applications

o Physical Requirements: This position is occasionally required to lift 20 pounds, assemble equipment and furniture and move equipment.


o 3+ years experience in desktop support role

o Strong experience in configuring and maintaining networking systems

o Expert experience in configuring and maintaining Mac and PCs

o Strong technical skills in regards to cloud technologies, networking services, and computer systems

This position reports to the IT Manager and will report to the Irvine, CA office. It is also important to be comfortable turning on your webcam to build a rapport, even from a distance.
