Position Summary

The Leasing Representative is responsible for supporting the Leasing Department and Donahue Schriber’s objectives, performance drivers and strategic initiatives. The Leasing Representative is responsible for preparing financial analysis, leasing analysis, preparation of project reports, budget preparation/tracking, administrative duties, and coordination with various levels of governmental agency review and oversight.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Support the Leasing Department for a portion of Donahue Schriber’s California property portfolio.
  2. Responsible for compiling and updating economic dealterm analyses, Letters of Intent, renewal documents, pylon sign matrices, and other deal-specific documents, as needed
  3. Review existing leases such as exclusive use clauses and tenant restrictions to verify Landlord’s ability to lease to prospective tenants.
  4. Update various monthly leasing reports including portfolio leasing activity, renewals, and quarterly market dashboard reports.
  5. Maintain and update site plan, floor plan and project photograph database for existing shopping center portfolio and coordinate updates with Marketing and Construction departments.
  6. Run operational reports – lease profiles, sales, rent rolls, lease expiration reports, exclusives, and tenant types.
  7. Strategize with Director of Leasing to develop target prospect tenant lists for each center based on categories not yet served by existing tenant base.
  8. Subscribe to real estate publications and reports to team on tenants growing store count in portfolio trade area.
  9. Screen prospect tenants via credit check, analysis of financial statements, and business history.
  10. Engage with listing broker team: maintain broker Listing Agreement database, process commission invoices, direct brokers when brochures and siteplans require updates.
  11. Develop coded site plans and construction pricing requests for annual Budgeting process.
  12. Attend industry events such as ACRE, ICSC, webinars, etc.
  13. Conduct basic property evaluations ensuring centers are looking and operating at their best.
  14. Responsible for long-term Leasing and Development team projects as assigned.
  15. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

Education

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree level of education with emphasis in Business Administration or other related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
