• Ensure availability of the current approved technical data on all articles installed, tested or repaired by the avionics Installation department

• Work to effectively communicate engineering changes that may be required to meet both external and internal customer requirements.

• Responsible for maintaining the Avionics Installation Departments equipment and tools in a serviceable condition; to include required checks and calibration

• Promote team work and improve employee moral by requiring the highest level of quality and performance, promote training, and improve standards and work processes

• Ensures that work completed complies with all technical publications and FAA regulations

• Present a clean and neat work area to customers

• Give direction or technical advice to the technicians while troubleshooting

• Coordinate with the maintenance department on priority aircraft to ensure customer expectations are met

• Responsible for adequate training of computer software, company policies, test equipment and systems to each avionics installation technician

• Communicate clearly and effectively with your department and other functional groups

• Ability to routinely meet budgeted production schedule and cost targets

• Focus efforts on ensuring that the customer is pleased with all facets of their experience with our company

• Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment



• Minimum of 10 years of experience working with jet avionics

• Experience with installation, troubleshooting and repair

• Must have knowledge of 145 repair station standards

• Strong leadership and motivational skills

• Excellent oral/written communication skills

• Above average computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite
