Comprehensive Life resources is looking for a qualified and passionate to join our team as a School and Clinic based Therapist.

Function:

Providing mental health services working directly with students in school and clinic Environments. Collaborating with school district personnel along with internal team members to help meet students individualized mental health needs.

 

Servicing School DistrictsWhite River, Orting, Puyallup and Peninsula school districts

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Collaborate weekly with school personnel.
  • Provide case management and psycho-education counseling services as needed.
  • Work in partnership with assigned consumers and, when appropriate, their families, to complete mental health assessments, treatment plans and other clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate treatment planning and services with other program staff, other consultants, relevant agencies, and individuals, e.g. DSHS, schools, juvenile court.
  • Complete administrative and clinical paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Keep records up-to-date and in compliance with WAC, contract and agency requirements.
  • Attend treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and designated staff training sessions.
  • Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
  • In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social or behavioral sciences.
  • Qualified as a Mental Health Professional.
  • WA State credential/license. Certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license; proof of insurance.
