Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers with a smile and assisting with their shopping experience
  • Sell daily admission, season passes, and all other products in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Sell various merchandise
  • Receive payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers, gift cards or automatic debits
  • Offer additional products to offer the best park experience
  • Have  excellent cash handling skills so that the transaction can be fast, friendly, and fun
  • Merchandise and maintain sales displays 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
  • Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
  • Assist customers with all questions regarding City Museum including facility layout and amenities
  • Follow all park policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Applicants must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public, customers and staff members
  • Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
  • Energy and enthusiasm for long days
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
  • Approachable and outgoing

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairs
