Position Summary

Potential candidate will be responsible for managing all project tracking and forecasting and maintaining scope of work and budget. Candidate must be capable of interacting with client and supervise a design team and sub-consultants to ensure project standards are met and delivered on time.  The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, understand code requirements and engineering standards, work efficiently and multitask.  Candidate should have experience working in the NYC DOB system and with FDNY.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform site visits to obtain data required to complete project
  • Understand municipal permitting and zoning requirements including NYC DOB & FDNY.
  • Manage CAD design team and Field Technicians
  • Coordinate all work with Structural Department
  • Coordinate required special inspections and manage process
  • Review and redline work prepared by team, maintaining production schedules
  • Understand the client’s network and equipment
  • Manage client schedule and expectations
  • Meet with client(s) and report schedule and market for new work
  • Interact with city/town, client and contractors to resolve scope changes and RFIs
  • Write proposals
  • Some travel required 



  • Keep Track of Time on Projects/Training/Meetings/Etc.
  • Work with Structural Department Program Manager or Higher on training
  • Complete company required training/policy reviews in a timely manner


Required Education and Experience

  • 3 or more years of wireless telecommunications experience
  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering degree
  • Proficient in CAD & Microsoft Office products

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Manage a design team of 1 to 10 employees


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Salaried Position/Exempt
  • Hours: 8:30-5:00



  • Travel to local sites will be required.  Travel is primarily in the northeast during the business day, although some projects may require occasional overnight travel
