General Purpose of Position: Perform required maintenance, repairs, and restorations to any and all equipment at the yard. Assigned to specific shift and rotation. Performs maintenance on equipment brought in to the yard.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Inspect, analyze, test, measure, and repair equipment as needed by Stingray. 
2. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
3. Clean and lubricate parts and equipment.
4. Test-run repaired equipment to ensure adequacy of repairs.
5. Perform evaluations and repairs on electrical systems, brakes & air systems, chassis & running gear, engine & accessories.
6. Diagnose and repair downhole pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
7. Manage inventory on parts trailer.
8. Assist with the testing, and evaluation of machinery, engines, and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance, oil and gas preferred.
3. Knowledge of diesel engine and hydraulic systems including mechanical and electrical system components, injectors, pumps, alternators, and starters.
4. Own basic mechanics tool set.
5. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time
6. Ability to lift up to 50lbs
7. Ability to work irregular hours and be on call as necessary
8. Ability to effectively communicate
9. Ability to successfully solve problems
10. Comply with all Stingray policies and procedures and all health and safety policies

Environment: Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.
