PURPOSE
Perform duties assigned by Shop Supervisor including, but not limited to, vehicle maintenance, shop equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, vehicle operation, welding, fabrication and interdepartmental assistance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform maintenance of vehicles, heavy equipment and other equipment. Including, but not limited to, service and repair of pickups, ATV's, snowmobiles, snow blowers, snowcats, motor grader, dirt cat, dump truck, loader/ backhoe.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system problems.
Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment.
Perform welding and fabrication as required with arc, mig and acetylene torch.
Assist in maintenance duties in other departments.
Operate equipment in a prudent manner.
Assist guests as needed.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
Common and specialized mechanics tools.
Diagnostic equipment.
Snowcats, heavy equipment, and vehicles.
Hose crimper
Arc welder, acetylene torches, Mig welder, plasma cutter, hand and power tools.

Be punctual and dependable.
Pay attention to detail.
Perform duties in a safe and timely manner.
Use time efficiently.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
Have adequate knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems and hydraulics to properly diagnose and repair.
Communicate and work alongside co-workers.
Work outside in cold temperatures.
Lift and carry 50 pounds.
Possess a valid Montana State drivers license.
Comply with and enforce Bridger Bowl Policies and Procedures.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear to be productive in a ski area environment.
Work 8-10 hours per day and on weekends, when needed.
