Apprentice - Audio Visual Solutions

Corporate - Abilene, TX

The AV Apprentice will gain valuable experience over a nine-week period in all areas of the Audio Visual Solutions and Marketing Department. This position will work closely with the Audio Visual and Marketing Department Leadership.  

The Apprentice will interact with all areas of the AV Solutions department, including: 

  • Videography 
  • Photography 
  • Photo and video editing 
  • Sound and tech support 

The Apprentice will gain a variety of experience, including: 

  • Assisting with the creation of audio and video content used in marketing efforts 
  • Broadcast, social media, and podcast content production 
  • Project planning and management 

The program focuses on teaching leadership principles and the Apprentice will have the opportunity to participate in personal growth activities, such as: 

  • Book Studies 
  • Videos 
  • Discussions 
  • Executive Lunches 
  • Volunteer Opportunities 
  • Corporate University Courses 


  • Team player as well as ability to work independently 
  • Effective communication, leadership, and time management skills 
  • Track record of responsibility beyond the classroom
  • Ideally pursuing a degree in Marketing, Media, or related fields of study 
  • Expected graduation date of May 2021 or later 
  • Some knowledge of audio, video, and camera equipment 
  • Some familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
