Forest Lane Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is located in Dallas, TX and we are on the hunt for an Experienced Diesel Technician! This individual will specialize in repairing and handling the maintenance of vehicles powered by diesel.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identify necessary vehicle service and perform the repair, service, and/or maintenance work

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections

  • Test vehicles both before and after repair

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

  • Keep a clean workspace

  • Proficient with automotive computer systems (CDK, mykaarma, etc.)
     

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 with Chrysler in diesel, level 3 in electrical, level 3 in engine repair and performance, level 3 in transmission and level 2 in all other areas working on level 3

  • Full working knowledge of 6.7l Cummins turbo diesel to include fuel systems, emissions systems and internal engine

  • Full working knowledge of 3.0 l eco diesel fuel systems, emissions systems and internal engine this too include both Ram 1500 and Promaster 

  • Full working knowledge of 3.0l turbo diesel Wrangler fuel systems, emissions systems and internal engine systems

  • Not limited to diesel only and can work on all other Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram products

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered

 

Hours:

  • Monday through Friday with shifts from 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, or 9am-6pm

  • Every other Saturday

  • This is a full time position

 

Compensation:

  • Based on experience

  • $10,000 sign on bonus for Main Line/Master Technicians
    • *Not eligible for transfers. Paid over the first year of employment. Must be with the dealership for 1 year to get the full signing bonus.
