Reyco Granning LLC has an opening for a Program Launch Manager for its Mt. Vernon production facility.  This position will report to the VP of Engineering and has the ultimate responsibility for all Product Development, Validation and Launch activities associated with new product development and introduction to the market by applying APQP methodologies.

Responsibilities include creating and upholding program timing and planning as a part of the Reyco Granning Synchronized Solution Development (SSD) Gate Review process, including coordinating day to day program activities based on customer expectations as well as internal & industry standards.  This position will be responsible for estimating, tracking and meeting both project and product cost targets; leading and effectively communicating to a cross functional team consisting of Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Quality.  This position will be expected to effectively communicate program status and risks on a timely basis to the executive team consisting of the President and Vice Presidents, overseeing all functions to ensure that cost, timing and performance targets are met.  Responsibilities include ensuring that the business and customers are ready for the product launch into production and the product can be installed and serviced properly; coordinating program launch task assignments and communicating risks associated with cost, timing and performance pro-actively; ensuring that all business functions provide deliverables as defined, on time, and that product validation is executed as per the approved DVP&R.  Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time and adapt as necessary in a changing environment.  Apply critical thinking, problem-solving techniques and risk mitigation methodologies.  To provide monthly program status updates to the executive management team and execute product requirement and performance verification as defined by the customer and inputs from application sheet.


Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational skills; management and interpersonal skills; great attention to detail and produce high quality of work.  Qualifications include exemplary computer skills in: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Smartsheet (or similar i.e., Microsoft Project), and PDF editor; fundamental understanding of Solidworks (CAD), PDM, dFMEA, DVP, pFMEA, MRP software, and other APQP type elements; knowledge of GD&T, tolerance studies and feasibility studies; knowledge/ familiarity of vehicle systems and their overall functionality; knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 preferred.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Management and/ or equivalent technical degree is required.  Two (2) years’ experience in a new product development and introduction to production environment, preferably within the medium or heavy-duty truck industry is required.  PMP certification is a plus.
