The Ranch & Spa Personal Trainer is responsible for assessing, developing and implementing individual fitness programs for members of The Ranch Fitness Center & Spa.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the Ranch Experience for members and guests by maintaining the established standards
  • Becomes knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with members and/or guests
  • Provides personal training on an individual or small group basis to Ranch members
  • Conducts fitness center orientation sessions for new Ranch members
  • Provides outstanding customer service, including answering questions and providing assistance to Ranch members on the fitness floor
  • Assists with the essentials of fitness center operations, such as reporting broken equipment and dealing with maintenance issues
  • Maintains daily and monthly client training schedules
  • Works with the Ranch reception staff in member procurement and billing of pre-paid personal training, memberships, and guest fees
  • Manages health history files and follow up when necessary with members as needed
  • Performs all duties in adherence to OTOW and The Ranch & Spa standards
  • Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all members, clients, residents, visitors and co-workers

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • First Aid, CPR-AED, and accredited certifications in personal training required

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must be able to read, write and understand English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to interact well with the public and provide good customer service
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task
