The Data Services Coordinator will provide support to the data analytics department by attend to any data and customer service requests and provide support while maintaining data integrity. Data Services Coordinator will be working closely with Analysts and IT team, adhering to confidentiality, legal and regulatory standards among other duties.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Track daily customer service request
  • Provide support to staff, program, donor, and volunteer end-users
  • Using SQL, Looker and similar software to run data queries
  • Performing data and other requests in a timely manner
  • Systematically clean up data sources, bulk mailing, and other internal systems
  • Maintaining data integrity and security, taking precautions when handling personally identifiable data
  • Preparing data for meetings, presentations and/or training
  • Communicate effectively via email, phone and face-to-face.
  • Adhering to legal, regulatory standards and company data guidelines
  • Attend and participate in all Mission, Division and Department meetings and training, as required.
  • Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
  • BA/BS Degree in information systems, computer science or related field
  • 1- 3 years’ experience in non-profit data or system, customer service support is strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in multiple relational databases is required (CRM??)
  • 1- 3 years’ experience SQL Server Management Studio and Excel experience is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced in Excel)

 

Work Environment

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment.  Requires frequent use of computers, keyboarding and talking on the telephone.  Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, bend, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms.  Regularly lifts up to 20 pounds and walks, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within the facility.  Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
