Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to fulfill all functions and duties of a Lifeguard.

Work as lifeguard as needed

Supervise aquatic staff to insure proper swimmer surveillance and safety procedures are being upheld.

Conduct pre and post shift briefings with aquatic staff

Assign rotations to aquatic staff
-
Assess rescue readiness and remediate as necessary
-
Perform opening and closing duties
-
Maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation
-
Initiate and impose disciplinary action according to park policies and procedures
-
Must be able to conduct weekly in-service training sessions as well as any others deemed necessary by management
-
Respond to alerts from aquatic staff
-
Perform zone walk through and ensure zones are maintained to park standards
-
Communicate effectively with park management
-
Ability to properly and safely operate equipment used
-
Knowledge of the standards of care in aquatic industry
-
Supervise guest experience to ensure excellent customer service is provided by the aquatic staff
-
Ensure all park policies and procedures are being followed by all employees
-
Identify concerns and work with management to resolve concerns
-
Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
-
Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
-
Assist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark including facility layout and amenities

Follow all park policies and procedures
-
Other duties as assigned
