This role will also oversee the IT needs of our sister company, Tiny Boxwoods Productions. Tiny Boxwoods Productions is a restaurant group that all started with our first restaurant, Tiny Boxwoods. Job Description

The Senior Information Technology administrator is directly responsible for support, administration, and performance of IT functions for all locations, but not limited to the following:

  • Analyze current network structure and propose ways to improve it
  • Maintain network documentation and keep it up-to-date
  • Assist in the maintenance and inventory of all equipment, consisting of, but not limited to, servers, computers, tablets, phones, monitors, printers and other IT components
  • Communicate hardware/software problems and issues to management and end-users
  • Maintain network performance by proactively monitoring, analyzing, tuning, and troubleshooting network
  • Install, configure, and maintain LAN equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, UPS units, and other network equipment in a multi-building, multi-location IT environment
  • Administer and plan Active Directory Structure, Domain and Office 365 users and group policies
  • Negotiate and maintain IT related service contracts, software licenses, supervise hardware and software purchases
  • Support corporate IT initiatives and system integration
  • Auditing – Coordinates and conducts routine hardware and software audits of servers and computers to ensure compliance with established IT standards, policies and configuration guidelines
  • VOIP phone administrator
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals
  • The ability to provide support after hours

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in network administration in a business environment with 100+ users and network devices
  • Ability to perform installs and updates after normal business hours when necessary.
  • Effective written/verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude, always conduct self in a professional manner; is self-motivated and self-directed, with multitasking skills and the ability to independently or cooperatively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to constantly learn and adapt to new technologies.
