Description

The Quality Systems Associate is responsible for conducting chart reviews on organ and tissue donors, shared cases, expedited cases and communicating needed corrections to the appropriate organ and tissue staff members to complete the charts in a timely manner. This position will perform both (+) serology and process discards on assigned cases/charts. This position will perform Quality Activities as requested by the Vice President, Quality Systems.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse, EMT/Paramedic or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Medical, hospital, general healthcare and technical experience and prior experience in regulated field is required.
  • Strong administrative skills such as the ability to organize projects, strong attention to detail, task oriented, and demonstrates follow-through with projects.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer equipment and software, including but not limited to, Windows environment (Word, Excel, Access – Intermediate to Advanced skills) required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
